Let's dive in.
Valory, a core contributor to Olas, fine-tuned Olas-Predict-R1-14B, an open-weight reasoning model, on forecast records from agents in the Olas Predict economy.
In Valory's study of 2,628 Omen and Polymarket markets, the model reached 75.8% accuracy, on par with GPT-4.1 (75.4%) and above its base model (71.4%), under the study's conditions.
The model is now available to Pearl users. Forecasting tools based on it are live on the Olas Marketplace, on Polygon and Gnosis, and Pearl agents, including Connect and Polystrat, are requesting forecasts from them. The model's adapter weights are published on Hugging Face for anyone to use or build on.
Pearl Connect launched this quarter, for people who already work with a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex.
Coding agents can already reason. With Connect, they can also use a crypto wallet and hire other agents on the Olas Marketplace. The wallet is a Safe smart account you own, and the Pearl app is designed to sign each transaction locally, with the keys encrypted on your machine.
Connect is designed to let your coding agent:
OLAS became available on Robinhood Chain, and the Olas core contracts were deployed on it.
The Olas DAO then voted to approve those contracts, so builders can register agent services and use the Olas Marketplace on Robinhood Chain.
Olas agents passed 20 million on August 16, two years after they reached 1 million.
As of October 1, they have made 20.7M+ on-chain transactions all-time, and 14.7M+ of them are agent-to-agent. Under a published methodology, each one counts as an identifiable action by an agent registered on Olas.
These agents are separate from the agents you run in Pearl.
The Pearl Success Agent is designed to handle requests and issues from Pearl users. Its first reply to a new issue is designed to go out without waiting for a person, and it can plan and write fixes overnight. Engineers review the code before each release. Issues from 47 Pearl users were resolved this way between May 1 and September 21.
The Toolsmith agent is designed to improve Olas Predict's forecasting tools. In June it traced a drop in forecast quality to a reasoning failure in one tool and wrote the fix, which was merged six days after the drop was first detected.
Agents can now send requests to specialized agents on the Olas Marketplace off-chain, and these already make up about a quarter of all agent-to-agent requests there.
The median wait fell from about 66 seconds to about 17, and gas per request fell by roughly 90%. Payments are still settled on-chain.
Over 30 days, about 33% of Polystrat agents with 10+ lifetime trades finished net-positive, compared with about 16% of Polymarket wallets in a separate on-chain study.
Polystrat moved off its custom wallet component to the standard @Safe smart account. Bugs that made some agents keep restarting or run without transacting on-chain were also fixed.
Polystrat metrics are back in the Agent Profile, and Polystrat's full history is now indexed by SQD.
Past performance does not predict future results. These technologies are AI-mediated and may result in the loss of any and all funds associated.

Pearl also got smaller updates through Q3:
Pearl Mini was discontinued after new Chrome Web Store rules banned prediction market extensions. It was designed so users keep control of their funds and keys, and a blog post explains how to withdraw: https://olas.network/blog/pearl-mini-sunset
Olas was featured in the media this quarter:
Olas also took part in live sessions on X:
