Gnosis has been involved with prediction markets since its founding in 2015, with the goal of producing the most accurate predictions. However, prediction markets outside popular topics like politics and sports suffer from low participation and repeat user engagement. This is because successfully participating in prediction markets requires complex analysis of extensive data sets, therefore outside of popular markets, interest is limited and these markets suffer.
Data from prediction market platforms like Polymarket illustrates a steep drop-off in prediction market activity:
